It is reported that Samuel LAMB of St. Stephen (Charlotte Co.) has followed Patrick CASEY of St. Croix to the West and shot him. The act was one of revenge as it will be remembered that Lamb was shockingly burned in the face with vitriol thrown by Casey a year ago. Lamb is now in prison awainting trial for murder. - 'News', fortnight ago. - We have received the following dated Moorhead, Min., April 19, 1882, Dear News -This outlaw, Sam Lamb, you appear to respect or fear so much is serving a term in a Minnesota prison for stealing insteading of awaiting trial for the murder of Patrick Casey.
