The body of Sperry L. SHEA, drowned near St. Clair Station, March 31st, was recovered Thursday of last week some 20 miles below where he broke through the ice. The remians were recovered by two yung men. The father, who had been on the look out along the river for some timne, was two miles above when the body was found. The clothing was intact and there was no disfiguration of the body. The body reached town Saturday last and the funeral took place from the residence of Mrs. H.R. BAIRD, an aunt of the deceased, Sunday. The services at the house and grave were conducted by Rev. Dr. Chapman, assisted by Rev. Jas. Whiteside and Rev. W.B. Wiggins at the grave; acting chaplain C.N. Scott read the Masonic service. The pall bearers were Frank CURRY, Albert JONES, George HARRISON and H.B. SMITH, all members of the Woodstock Masonic Lodge.
