The Acadian Reporter publishes extracts from Charleston papers taken to Bermuda by a Southerner who had run the blockade it is said forty times. One paragraph states that a deserter from the Yankee fleet, who gave his name as Alexander RUSSELL and said he belonged to Nova Scotia and that he deserted from then Isaac P. Smith into which he was inveigled under false pretenses. (see original)
