The funeral of the late Dr. H.C. PRESTON took place Saturday afternoon and was attended by members of the medical profession, the Masonic order and leading citizens. The pall bearers were C.F. KINNEAR, James GILBERT, R.W. CROOKSHANK, Joseph SCAMMELL, Clarence WARD and Capt. R. MORAN. After a short service at the house the remains were conveyed to the Mission chapel where the burial service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Williams. The body was then taken to the Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery.
