This illustration showing Stuart Trueman putting a stethoscope to his heart while Evan Hicks unfurls his medical bill for bypass surgery, accompanied a Trueman column about a case in Florida which he used to examine American health insurance followed an earlier article he wrote on Canadians having medical insurnace when in the United States.
