Where to, Mac?
Josh Beutel, Telegraph Journal, 1980-8-11 Reference number: MC2806-384

Scope and Content
This cartoon implies with considerable "black humour," by presenting Ted Kennedy as a cab driver and asking Jimmy Carter where he wants to go, that although Ted Kennedy won't win the Democratic nomination he will have a good to say on the direction of the party and this could be bad for the Democrats chances in the election.

Title
Where to, Mac?

Note
Ted Kennedy was in a bid for the 1980 Democratic leadership against incumbent Jimmy Carter. Nearly ten years earlier he had been accused of being responsible for a woman's death in an alleged drunk driving accident.
